Alhosn App: Get your doubts cleared
To keep up with the ever-changing nature of the pandemic, the tools used by the government have also evolved. Alhosn, the innovative app used by the Ministry of Health and Prevention, has been a mainstay during the pandemic and is widely regarded as a key player in safeguarding the UAE and its citizens.
From green passes to missing information, here are answers that shall address your doubts.
How can I get the green pass?
The green status is obtained when you are fully vaccinated and have a negative PCR test result from the past 14 days.
To be considered fully vaccinated, you must have had the second dose of a vaccine. If your second dose was at least six months ago, you must have a booster dose.
You have a 30-day grace period to get the booster dose. To maintain green status, you also need to have a negative PCR test result at least every 14 days.
Why am I still red after receiving a negative PCR test result?
Kindly note that to obtain green status after testing positive for Covid-19, you must obtain two negative PCR test results taken 24 hours apart, along with being fully vaccinated.
Why is my PCR/ vaccination not showing?
Alhosn App only reflects information provided by healthcare centres and government authorities. To rectify your issue, kindly contact the health centre where the PCR test was taken.
How can I book an appointment for a booster dose?
Please contact DoH for Abu Dhabi, DHA for Dubai, or MOHAP for the remaining emirates for further clarification.
I have an extra dose on my Alhosn app that I did not take, how can I fix it?
To correct this, contact the health centre where the vaccination was taken.
